About Qooty — Saudi Supermarket Offers Platform

Qooty is an independent platform tracking and comparing Saudi supermarket offers. This page explains who we are, where our price data comes from, how we verify it, and how to reach us for corrections.

Who we are

Qooty is an independent Saudi platform that tracks and compares supermarket and hypermarket offers across the Kingdom. We launched with one simple goal: help families in KSA know the cheapest price on their everyday groceries before they head to the store — while keeping price data accurate and neutral.

We cover 100+ Saudi chains — Panda, Lulu, Othaim, Danube, Carrefour, Tamimi, Nesto, Al-Raya, BinDawood — across 30+ cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, Madinah, Khobar, Tabuk, Buraidah, Al-Ahsa, Jubail.

How we source price data

We pull weekly flyers directly from each supermarket's official channels — their apps, websites, newsletters, and social accounts — within hours of publication, typically Wednesday/Thursday when the new flyer cycle begins.

Flyer images run through a vision AI pipeline that extracts product name, price, discount %, unit (kg / pack / case), and barcode where present. Each offer then goes through automated validation against our historical product catalog (to flag anomalous prices) plus periodic human sample-review before publication.

All offers are displayed VAT-inclusive (15%) as they appear at the in-store checkout.

Update policy

We re-fetch and re-render offer pages whenever the upstream source changes. The freshness timestamp is shown plainly above every subcategory and store page, and is also encoded in the `dateModified` field of each page's JSON-LD.

Expired offers are auto-tagged "expired" and disappear from active-offer lists within an hour of their end date.

If we receive a mid-week correction (in-store fix, typo), the page re-renders and we ping search engines via IndexNow within minutes.

Our neutrality — and how we're funded

Qooty is not affiliated with any supermarket chain. We don't charge stores to be listed, and we don't alter product ranking or prices on commercial request. Rankings on each page are driven solely by: offer recency, discount %, product popularity, and proximity of the store's branch to the user's selected city.

We are funded via limited, non-intrusive Google AdSense placements, and through clearly-labeled sponsored-flyer partnerships kept visually distinct from organic listings.

Report a wrong price or expired offer

If you spot a price that differs from what's displayed in-store, or an offer that should be expired but is still listed, email us the product, store, and city via the support page — we resolve corrections within 24 hours. We actively encourage users to help keep our price data accurate.
