1. Acceptance of these terms
By using qooty.net or the Qooty app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the linked Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the platform.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and continuing to use the platform after a revision means you accept the new version.
2. What the service is
Qooty is an informational platform that collects and displays supermarket offers and flyers published in Saudi Arabia, to help you compare before you buy.
We are not a shop or a commercial intermediary: we sell nothing, take no orders or payments, and play no part in any transaction between you and a retailer. Any purchase happens directly between you and the store, under that store's own terms.
3. Accuracy of prices and offers
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate, current data, but prices and offers originate with the retailers and may change, expire or sell out without notice.
The authoritative price is always the one shown in-store at the checkout. An offer appearing on Qooty is not a commitment by the retailer to honour it, and we accept no liability for a price difference, an expired offer, or an out-of-stock item.
If you spot an incorrect price or an offer that should have expired, report it to [email protected] and we will review it.
4. Intellectual property
The platform's design, the Qooty name and logo, our written content, taxonomy and codebase belong to us and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.
Store names, logos, flyer images and product imagery belong to their respective owners. They appear here for purely informational purposes, with no claim of ownership and implying no affiliation or endorsement.
If you are a rights holder and believe content we publish exceeds permitted use, email [email protected] with the content, its URL and proof of ownership, and we will remove it within 48 hours of verification.
5. Acceptable use
When using the platform, you must not:
- Scrape our content or copy our databases in whole or in part for republication or commercial use without our written permission.
- Attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or probe it for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
- Republish our content as your own or without attribution.
- Click on displayed advertising in an artificial manner, or encourage others to do so.
6. Advertising
The platform is funded by advertising served by third-party partners, including Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse the content of those ads and are not responsible for any dealings between you and an advertiser. Data collected for advertising purposes is governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. External links
The platform may link to external sites and apps (retailer websites, Google Maps, app stores). We do not control their content or policies and accept no responsibility for your use of them.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the data or the continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or your reliance on data published on it, including purchasing decisions made on the basis of that data.
9. Suspension of service
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without prior notice, and may restrict access for any user who breaches these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
